MM Music has been proving music and voice lessons in Massapequa and its surrounding communnities since 1990. Owners Mark and Jeanne Marino were the original music teachers. Mark teaches guitar, bass guitar, and piano while Jeanne specializes in piano and voice. Over the years this music studio has expanded with a total of seven teachers.
MM Music guides students of all ages and levels to master their respective intruments. Students also learn music theory and are offered several chances to perform each year. They are prepared for NYSSMA and LIMTA adjudications and are invited to perform in the annual recital each spring. MM Music also prepares students for college auditions and for shows in both school, local, and professional theatres.
Love to Sing is a week-long, 6 hour per day singing camp for kids ages 5-13. The only requirement is a love of singing! Young campers sing their favorite songs from artists like Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga, musicals like Wicked, and movies and television shows such as Hairspray and Glee while learning proper vocal technique from the eprofessional staff. Campers will also enjoy related arts and crafts projects and outdoor activities. At the end of each week-long session parents will be treated to a special performance by the new singing stars!
